Work experience

It is not mandatory that you take a Spanish course to perform an internship in Spain, but you will need at least an intermediate level of Spanish to get started with your internship. To ensure that you have the Spanish level required by our host organizations, we will arrange a phone interview in Spanish. If you need to take a Spanish course, we will recommend you to take 6 to 8 weeks to achieve an intermediate level. It is possible to work in these sectors :

During August, many sectors are not available. You cannot work in education from June until August. Students can work in companies whose sector matches the studies they have made. The internships will be chosen according to the student’s resume, their previous professional experiences and their Spanish level. Work experiences are not paid. Each student gets helps by a tutor coming from our agency and by another one in the company. They can rely on them during their whole stay. They control the activities that the trainee does and go between the company and the trainee. Therefore, the evolution of the activities is controlled. Tutors and students have to fill two evaluation questionnaires, halfway through and at the end of the internship. You can choose a Standard Internship from our list or ask for a Customized internship. With the Standard Internships in Barcelona you can apply for one of the many HYPERLINK "http://www.coined-spain.org/internships/placements/" internship placements available. With the Customized Internships Program, the search for your internship placement is done specifically according to your requirements and needs. You define the field in which you would like to intern, the activities you want to perform, or the project you need to develop, and the placement process will get started according to your defined parameters.

How to enrol

You have to send us :

• your resume and a cover letter in Spanish
• a passport photo
• a letter of reference
• the enrolment file (filled)
• the general conditions (signed)
• a photocopy of your international social insurance and of your ID or your passport
• a cheque of 130€ to enrol at Euroma and a deposit of 150€

You have to get an insurance for accident, illness and third party liability insurance. We can offer one if you do not know which one to choose : see AVI international on the right in the link section. The internship must be paid once your application has been confirmed : 600€ for a Standard Internship and 1100€ for a Customized Internship.

Included in prices :

• Guidance and supervision from Spanish professionals.

• Compliance of all the legal and formal requirements of your internship.
• Internship completion certificate issued by the organization.

Not included in prices :

• the return ticket to go to Barcelona
• the Spanish courses if you decide to follow them
