Our school

Frankfurt is a dynamic and international financial centre, the largest in Europe after London but the city in the middle of Germany and Europe has more to offer. Not far from the skyscrapers are the famous "Ebbelwoi", pubsm cocktail bars, garden restaurants and many historical sigths. Kaiserdom and Paulskirche or the unique "Museum Mile" along the bank of the river. Frankfurt offer exciting contrats between history and modern life. The language school is located in Sachsenhausen, a very beautiful and elegant par of Frankfurt. This area offers great shopping opportunities. It is very close to the heart of the city. Just about all of Frankfurt's museums are literally around the corner of the school. The school has a café bar and a terrace where students can relax between lessons. The underground station Schweizer Platz is only 2 minutes walk away and the city center is less than 5 minutes away by public transport.

Accommodation

Accommodation in a residence

- Students will be accommodated in a 2-4 bed rooms in the youth guesthouse with other students from all over the world.

- Full board : breakfast, packed lunch and dinner. The day of arrival the dinner is included and the day of departure the packed lunch is included.

- Formula available from sunday (from 14:00 to 20:00) day of arrival to saturday (day of departure) after the breakfast between 9:00 and 20:00.

Activities

- Activities organized by our local person in charge,

- Activities in the afternoon : orientation tour, city rallye, sports, cultural activities..,.

- Activities in the evening : Welcome party, activities on the beach, BBQ, cinema, bowling, evening games, quizz,

- Sports : swimming-pool, football, volleyball

- Half-day excursion per week (on average during a week) : ex : Mainz, Ruedesheim or Marburg,

- Full-day excursion (for the 2 weeks) on saturday or sunday : ex : Wiesbaden or Heidelberg,

- 24 hour supervision guaranteed.

Courses for adults

Period : All year round

Accommodation

- Full board formula in host families selected by the school or in self-catered Standard or Confort Appartment. The dinner on the arrival day is included. You will share a double room with another student of a different nationality. The single rooms are available on request with additional charge. The accommodation can also be an hotel (on request).

- Arrival on sunday from 14:00 to 22:00 and departure on saturday after the breakfast between 08:00 and 11:00.

Program:

For teenagers :

Intensive courses 20 lessons/week (1 lesson = 45 min) given by experienced German teachers. A max. of 15 students per class. The average is 12 students. The lessons take place in the morning from monday to friday except during holidays and the excursions days. Level test on the first day to determine the level of the student. A certificate will be given at the end of the stay. We offer up to 5 levels in multinational classes : beginners (A0), elementary (A1), inferior intermediary (A2), intermediary (B1) and superior intermediary (B2).

- The entrance fees for the excursions and the leisure programs offered by the school,

For adults :

Intensive courses (20 lessons a week) (min. 2 weeks) or Intensive courses Plus (30 lessons a week)

The courses always begin on monday except during christmas break. The beginners are allowed. 1 lesson = 45 minutes. 10 students max. per class from beginner level (A0) to advanced intermediary (C1). Level test on the first day to determine the level of the student. A certificate is given at the end of the stay.

DSH Courses (Preparation to the exam) 20 or 30 lessons a week

Courses always begin on monday except during Christmas break. Beginners are allowed. 1 lesson = 45 min. Minimum length of 8 weeks.

Prices

Additional charge per week :

- Medium season : from 1 April to 23 June + from 26 August to 20 october : 25€ / week

- High season : from 24 June to 25 August : 50€ / week

- Accommodation as booked,

Not included in the price :

- Transfer the arrival and departure day (It is recommended to take a taxi : from the airport the price is about 15€ and from the station 8€)

- Phonecalls from the student : they have to be paid directly to the host family

- School books (about 30€)

- Price of the public transport

- Leisure activities

- Tickets entrance for the different activities

Health insurance is to be taken out before the beginning of the stay. It is compulsory for the non European participants.
