GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Minimum age : 18 to 27
- Periods : during school-year minimum 10 months, and from June to September
possibility of 4 months
- It is necessary to have a minimum of experience with children and not essential
to have a basic knowledge of the language before leaving your country
AU PAIR MEANS
- To live in an Italian family as a member of that family
- To have free time every day in order to study the language and to attend
language classes
- To help with baby-sitting, childcare and general household duties
WORKING HOURS
- 5 hours per day, during school-year (morning or afternoon according
to the needs of the family plus 2 or 3 evenings) and 8 hours per day during
the summer.
FREE TIME
- Mornings or afternoons
- 1 day a week completely free, usually Sundays
- 2 or 3 evenings for outing with friends
LANGUAGE COURSES
We select families in areas where there is the possibility to attend
classes.
Different choices of schools will be given to the Au pair. It is not possible
to attend courses during summer
BOARD AND LODGING
This is provided by the family and the Au Pair girls
have their own bedroom.
POCKET MONEY & TRAVELLING EXPENSES
All Au Pair girls pay their own travelling expenses and the cost of their school
fees.
The family pays weekly or monthly pocket money.
- Au Pair :
71 € per week
- Au Pair + :
from 84 to 103 € per week
INSURANCE
It is obligatory to take out health/accident before travelling. See in
our website if you don’t know what insurance to take.
It is compulsory to request the international card for medical treatment
within EEC countries.
APPLICANTS
We
require the following enclosures :
- 3 passport photographs
- photos with children and with your family
- 3 written references : two should be from a family for whom you baby-sit
and one reference must be from a teacher or employer ; the references must
have the name, address and telephone numbers
- A medical certificate
- criminal report
- A summary of your life to date, stating the reasons for wanting to be au pair
We will select for you a family to match
your requirements. Once you have been contacted by a family wait till you receive all
the written details from Euroma. Should you not be happy with our offer
please contact us and we will select another family.
We are always at the disposal for any information the Au Pair may
require (list of schools, lists of other girls living in the same area during
the school-year).
